Specialist Expertise

 

Ebenezer Healthcare facilitates visiting specialist services with the goal of improving access to advanced medical care to communities and people who will traditionally face significant barriers to raise/obtain funds to travel to other countries to obtain those services.

 

This program brings highly skilled specialists directly to local health facilities, reducing the need for costly long-distance travel, accommodation costs, foreign country specialist costs, and the unmeasurable cost and trauma of the unknown when travelling to foreign country for treatment.

 

While we see people from different socioeconomic backgrounds, our priorities are those with financial barriers.

We expect to improve confidence and skill-sharing between specialists and local healthcare providers – empowering communities with access to quality care closer to home.
